Our Story

Ají Orlando was born from our shared passion for cooking and our deep love for Latin American culture. Growing up in Colombia, food was always more than just a meal — it was a way to connect, to celebrate, and to bring people together. When we came to the United States, we were introduced to the incredible diversity of Latin flavors from across the continent. That experience inspired us to create something that honors our roots while embracing the richness of Latin cuisine as a whole.

The name Ají comes from a beloved Colombian sauce, but it also represents something greater — flavor, warmth, and the spark that brings every dish to life. One of our greatest inspirations is our great-grandmother, Mariela Quintero, whose joy came from cooking for others and watching how happy it made them. Through Ají Orlando, we carry forward that same spirit — creating food that tells a story, brings people together, and reminds everyone that everything tastes better with Ají.
